Exceptionally consistent brass with case weights all within a grain of each other. Measured case necks in an entire box and could find NO case next concentricity problems, all the necks appeared perfectly consistent. If I had a complaint, it would be the new trend toward downsizing case numbers… They should be left at 100 cases per package instead of trying to fool the consumer into thinking that things aren’t costing them as much as they use to even though per case, the price has actually been increased.

I use this Hornady brass in my AR. I wanted something that would help me match the potential of the gun which is a target/varmint version. I have not been sorry. The length was good right out of the box. I did neck size all rounds just to make sure they were uniform. The primers all seated with the same pressure. There was a minimal amount of neck deformation from shipping. I did ream the inside of the flash hole just to make sure it was totally uniform. I bought these in a couple of different lots and they showed relatively close weight tolerances.
